Poor Riches

"Would you describe yourself as low income, middle income, or high income?" the poll taker asked the woman over the phone.
"Low income," the woman responded.
"And what is the combined annual income of all those living in your home?" the poll taker continued.
"Well, I don't really know, but I suppose it is several million dollars."
"Gee, what's it like living with those rich folks?" the poll taker asked.
"Oh no, they are low income also," the woman responded.
"But you said they make several million dollars a year."
"That's right."
"Then how can you claim that everyone is low income?"
How can what she says be true?
